Topics such as energy, water security, and social equity were at the forefront.
• Climate Action Conference: Aimed at regional stakeholders, this conference focused on the importance of climate change mitigation strategies and transitioning to green energy sources.
• Food Security and Agriculture Workshop: This workshop explored ways to ensure food security while promoting sustainable agricultural practices across arid regions in the Arab world.

2. Training and Capacity Building

AISDG continued its commitment to building the capacities of governments, institutions, and local communities. In 2018, it organized a variety of training programs aimed at empowering stakeholders with the tools and knowledge to implement sustainability initiatives. These included:
